The 1st Smart Sindara carnival
Smart Sindara is on a mission to inspire all African children to greatness, confidence and leadership. Little wonder, we held the 1st ever Smart Sindara carnival at Kernel park, on Saturday May 26th. The event had almost 90 children in attendance, their parents, different vendors, 10 Smart Sindara themed Ushers/volunteers and our product sponsors. Thanks to Domino’s pizza, Ovaltine, Fanmilk and Maltina. The children had a swell time with the freebies.
The day kicked off with various vendors setting up their stalls. There were kidpreneurs on stand by too. Mimi explorers- 8 year old twin girls came with their famous Mocktails, Daniella art studio had art classes and art exhibition, Sammy’s special had yummy snacks and the Famous 11 year old artist who later painted President Macron of France taught little children sketching and painting. Imagine, he was at the Smart Sindara carnival just 6 weeks before the President Macron encounter! ‘This is the story of Kareem Waris aka waspa art.
Other exhibitors/vendors present: Online Wisdom, a cyber security firm, Firewood cooks, Augustsecrets and more.
The carnival had reading events, spelling bee contests, a live puppet show/ventriloquist and lots of rides and games.
Ofcourse, the carnival was filled with music, laughter, excitement and dancing. The event memories were captured by two young photographers- Ariyike photographers. They were a sight to behold too.
